On early Sunday morning Muslim herders attacked Christian villagers in Nigeria with machetes.
500 Christians were slaughtered. |
Villagers in central Nigeria buried dozens of bodies, including those of women and children, in a mass grave on Monday after attacks in which several hundred people were feared to have been killed. (Reuters)
ITN has video from the Jos, Nigeria.
(Warning: graphic) |
Some of the bodies had been charred. Some had slash marks across their faces. One young victim was found to be scalped and few others were found with cut off hands and legs.
The Muslim hackers shouted “Allah Akhbar” (God is Great) before breaking into homes and hacking the Christians to death. |
Saudi Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal donated $20 million each to Harvard and Georgetown Universities “to promote interfaith understanding.” For Georgetown, the gift was the second-largest ever received. Cornell University, Stanford University, and Texas A&M University are partnering with a Saudi university, lured by one of the world’s largest supercomputers (guess where the money for that came from). |
Overnight Thread: Pat Condell on Geert Wilders, the Netherlands, and the Death of Free Speech Whatever you think of Pat Condell — the British internet talking head, former Roman Catholic and now committed atheist, who regularly heaps hot helpings of scorn on his favorite targets (Islam, religion in general, multiculturalism, European cultural suicide) — you have to admit the man is both brave and funny. |
Here he is on the grotesque mockery of the judicial process currently going on in Holland in the Geert Wilders trial: |
| …The Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice, also known as Haia, has been warning shops not to sell such items in the run-up to the annual holiday, deemed by the police as un-Islamic… |
| Florists, pastry shops, cosmetic stores and gift shops have all been under increased scrutiny in the week leading up to Valentine’s Day, celebrated around the world by giving gifts to loved ones. |
| “The presence of Haia officials near places where Valentine’s Day is likely to be celebrated is quite natural and it occurs every year,” Turki al-Shelail, spokesman for the Haia in Riyadh, was quoted as saying… “Our aim is to enlighten people so that they will not take part in such un-Islamic activities.” |
| The crackdown has become a well-publicised annual game of cat and mouse between shops and the religious police as gift items that are available throughoutRead more at directorblue.blogspot.com |
| Will the Special Inspector General for the TARP Funds Investigate the Illegal Trust? |
Yesterday we broke the story of possible criminal wrongdoing in regards to the bailout of AIG by Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner, then Director of the New York Federal Reserve, and Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke. |
| these facts were discovered while securities litigator David Yerushalmi and the Thomas More Law Center was representing Iraq War vet Kevin Murray in Murray vs. Geithner, et al. Mr. Murray is rightfully horrified that the very doctrines of the enemy he faced in combat would be promoted by the US government. Specifically, prior to the U.S. government’s takeover of the insurance giant AIG, the company was the world’s leading promoter of Shariah-compliant finance products and businesses. Bailing out and forcefully (and illegally) taking ownership of AIG put the American taxpayer in the position of advocating Shariah-compliant finance, which is troubling on many levels:Read more at biggovernment.com |
| Prince Al-Waleed bin Talal bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud was interviewed by Neil Cavuto on Fox News the other day. I have included both parts of this interview at the end of my article, for your evaluation. |
| He is a social architect who was educated in the States with a Masters degree in Social Sciences. He has wasted no time in using this degree to mold the American people in his Muslim likeness. |
| He mentions that he stays out of American politics. That’s not true! |
| The Prince “is” the point man for Muslim Arab influence in Washington. No one from the Arab world has more creditability with our President than the Prince. |
| With massive holdings in our largest bank Citigroup he already is well on his way to influencing our banking industry with offices in every small town and large city in America. |
| Now, the Prince is going after Rupert Murdoch’s News Corp, the one last source of information not poisoned by his influence. The Fox News TV channel is now the most trusted news source in American. |
Search engine Google has been accused of censoring its results after users discovered it never suggests search terms when it comes to Islam. |
In a time-saving feature the internet phenomenon, whose motto is ‘don’t be evil’, helpfully suggests common searches as people type in what they are looking for. |
For example, if you type in ‘Christianity is’ in the search bar a whole range of options flash up including controversial suggestions such as ‘Christianity is fake’ and ‘Christianity is a cult’.
|
Google has been accused of censoring offensive searches relating to Islam
|
But anyone typing in a similar phrase which replaces Christianity with Islam gets no suggestions at all. |
The anomaly has led some to conclude the firm, famed for its democratic approach to the world of information it controls, is censoring the search results. |
| “It’s not exactly the kind of speech you would have heard from Henry V or Churchill.” |
Charles Krauthammer: I thought it was a rather strange speech. It was defensive and it was a lot of hedging. the president said at the end that our resolve is unwavering. He said in August this was a war of necessity. And then he gives us all of the reasons that we need to start leaving in a year and a half. And among the reasons he gave was that it was a very expensive war and we have a bad economy and that’s at least of equal importance. It’s not exactly the kind of speech you would have heard from Henry V or Churchill. And it’s not exactly the kind of speech you heard from George Bush when he announced his surge.
