Part 1 of Pastor Stephen Broden’s amazing speech at the 912 Project Fort Worth’s America’s Awakening event held on June 11, 2009. Pastor Broden calls it what it is, plain and simple tyranny and how we must fight to take back this country by all means available in the U.S. Constitution. 912 Project Fort Worth is modeled after Glenn Beck’s 9 Principles and 12 Values.

Thin-Lipped, Milquestoast, Cream-In-The-Coffee Cadaver Called Out

Amplifyd from ace.mu.nu

h/t Doug Ross. As the faces of the Democratic Congress Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid represent everything I find most reprehensible about the political class. First politicians have no class and second there should be no political class. I find it fundamentally offensive that there is an entire group of people who spend their lives confiscating the wealth created by others and giving to their allies. Pelosi, Reid, Murtha Kennedy and yes Obama have never spent a single day of their lives being productive. They have looted the productive efforts of better people than themselves and decided they knew better what to do with them.

It’s hard to pick among them for the biggest villain, and at least Kennedy had the common decency to die and deny them that 60th vote, but Reid has always made me ill. He is not bright, weak and arrogantly drunk with unearned power. He is petty, venal and pretty much any other invective you wish to employ.Read more at ace.mu.nu

merriemarie says:

But in a ray of light shining on his fetid, animated corpse he is actually in trouble for re-election. Thankfully so are many other members of the Socialist Democratic Party. There are many reasons for him to get on with his long-deserved dirt nap, but this has to rank pretty high up there. Sherman Frederick of the Las Vegas Review-Journal writes.

On Wednesday, before he addressed a Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce luncheon, Reid joined the chamber’s board members for a meet-’n'-greet and a photo. One of the last in line was the Review-Journal’s director of advertising, Bob Brown, a hard-working Nevadan who toils every day on behalf of advertisers. He has nothing to do with news coverage or the opinion pages of the Review-Journal.

Yet, as Bob shook hands with our senior U.S. senator in what should have been nothing but a gracious business setting, Reid said: “I hope you go out of business.”

Later, in his public speech, Reid said he wanted to let everyone know that he wants the Review-Journal to continue selling advertising because the Las Vegas Sun is delivered inside the Review-Journal.

Such behavior cannot go unchallenged.

You could call Reid’s remark ugly and be right. It certainly was boorish. Asinine? That goes without saying.

But to fully capture the magnitude of Reid’s remark (and to stop him from doing the same thing to others) it must be called what it was — a full-on threat perpetrated by a bully who has forgotten that he was elected to office to protect Nevadans, not sound like he’s shaking them down.

Wow, how nakedly revealing of what a horrible person, and even worse Senator, Reid is. He believes he is above reproach and that the “free” press is only free to cheerlead as our country is remade as a progressive paradise. Mr. Frederick continues with what should become a rallying cry for all Nevadans who believe in representative government controlled by the people.
For the sake of all who live and work in Nevada, we can’t let this bully behavior pass without calling out Sen. Reid. If he’ll try it with the Review-Journal, you can bet that he’s tried it with others. So today, we serve notice on Sen. Reid that this creepy tactic will not be tolerated.
We won’t allow you to bully us. And if you try it with anyone else, count on going through us first.

That’s a promise, not a threat.

And it’s a promise to our readers, not to you, Sen. Reid.

Party of Hope, Change and Beatdowns

Amplifyd from directorblue.blogspot.com
So it begins. President Obama’s paid thugs are now routinely assaulting taxpayers as directed by their leader. Remember?
In Tucson, over 1,000 anti-socialized medicine protesters peacefully assembled, quietly listening to speakers until an anti-free speech thug disrupted the meeting.
The man entered the meeting shouting, screaming and shaking a sign.
The crowd was shocked.
When a man asked him to stop shouting and leave, the thug elbowed him in the face.
It looks like a clear-cut case of assault and battery to me.
A police officer removed the man from the meeting.
In Georgia, another pro-ObamaCare thug had to be threatened with a taser by police before he was arrested for threatening senior citizens peacefully protesting against socialized medicine.
Obama to ACORN: “They Bring a Knife…We Bring a Gun”
Obama to his organizers: “Get in Their Faces!”

Obama to his paid ACORN mercenaries (on the taxpayer dime, no less): “Hit Back Twice As Hard”

Consider: this is happening now, a little more than a year before the midterm elections and three years from the Presidential election.
And the precedent for tolerating voter intimidation at the polls has been set.

Folks, I’ll be frank.

American Seniors Association Is Making It Possible For Those Seniors With Dissenting Voices To Now Be Heard

Amplifyd from www.examiner.com

Amidst recent controversy over what is perceived as support by AARP for Obama’s health care reform– a new player has emerged on the scene and they are ready to serve disgruntled seniors. According to the American Seniors Association website, ASA is “looking out for seniors by fighting a health care reform bill that will cost upward of $1.8 trillion over the next 10 years and cuts in Medicare of $500 billion.”

The Atlanta-based American Seniors Association describes itself as a conservative grassroots advocacy organization whose mission is to “provide seniors with the choices, information, and services they need to live healthier, wealthier lives.” Additionally, in direct reference to the current health care debate, ASA has specified that it “wants seniors to live longer, more fulfilling years of life– not an ‘end of life’ continuum that this bill suggests.”

And just to show they mean business, ASA has posted the following offer on their website:

AP Photo/Ed AndrieskiRead more at www.examiner.com

merriemarie says:

“The American Seniors Association (ASA) invites any American Association of Retired Persons member to mail us your torn AARP card and receive a 2 year- for- 1 year membership with ASA.”

Over the past few weeks, AARP’s position on current health care reform proposals have been conflicted, in the very least. On August 11th, President Obama, in a nationally televised town hall meeting on health care claimed the support of AARP for his health care plan, only to be followed by an immediate press release from AARP stating they had no official position of support for current health care reform.

Tom Nelson, AARP’s chief operating officer, said, “Indications that we have endorsed any of the major health care reform bills currently under consideration in Congress are inaccurate.’”

However, as Miami City Buzz Examiner demonstrated in a recent post entitled, Health Care Reform Bill: Is AARP sending a confusing message to seniors?, the information presented on AARP’s website included enough statements and clarifications which hardly could be interpreted as a lack of support from AARP.

Apparently, the controversy over health care and AARP’s position has caused quite a few seniors to declare that they have had enough. According to a report relesded today by The Associated Press:

“About 60,000 senior citizens have quit AARP since July 1 due to the group’s support for a health care overhaul, a spokesman for the organization said Monday.

The membership loss suggests dissatisfaction on the part of AARP members at a time when many senior citizens are concerned about proposed cuts to Medicare providers to help pay for making health care available for all. But spokesman Drew Nannis said it wasn’t unusual for the powerful, 40 million-strong senior citizens’ lobby to shed members in droves when it’s advocating on a controversial issue… The approximately 60,000 number represents members who specifically cited AARP’s stance on the health overhaul debate in canceling their membership between July 1 and mid-August, Nannis said.”

American Seniors Association has pronounced Florida as having one of the largest senior populations of any state in the nation and senior citizens as being “the most important voting bloc in the state”. Representing hundreds of thousands of seniors nationwide, the American Seniors Association is making it possible for those seniors with dissenting voices to now be heard.

The Atlanta-based American Seniors Association (ASA), which is opposed to President Obama’s health care plan, is trying to capitalize on growing public dissatisfaction with the AARP.

The group is offering any senior that sends in a torn AARP card a special deal that provides them with a two-year membership for the price of one year.

Founded in 2005 as the National Association of Senior Concerns by retired business executive Jerry Barton, a longtime supporter of conservative values and causes, the group later changed its name to the American Seniors Association.

ASA advocates reform of Medicare, Social Security and the tax code. The group also goes outside of traditional issues that affect seniors by opposing illegal immigration.

Among the variety of services the group offers are prescription discounts, mortgage loans, travel agency and insurance products through a partnership with Liberty Mutual.

Actor Peter Marshall, former host of Hollywood Squares, is the group’s honorary chairman.

To: President Barack Obama, Members of Congress

As a concerned citizen, I oppose any and all efforts to further expand government control over the U.S. healthcare and insurance system. Specifically, I oppose the so-called Public Option proposals — the Affordable Health Choices Act and other similar bills — which amount to government-run, socialized health care that will impose massive taxes on the American people.

Like most Americans, I prefer getting my health coverage through private insurance rather than the federal government. That’s because government healthcare always results in higher costs and rationing. I do not want politicians and bureaucrats dictating the health care and insurance decisions of myself and my employer. Especially in these difficult economic times, I flatly reject any new government healthcare plan that imposes new taxes or burdens on individuals or businesses.

Why They Loved Him, With An Asterisk

Should EPA Publicly Defend Its Findings on Green House Gases?

Should the Environmental Protection Agency be required to publicly defend its finding that greenhouse gases endanger public health and welfare?

In April, the EPA released a proposal concluding that carbon dioxide and other global warming pollutants cause health problems. Now the agency is poised to release the final version of that ruling. But the U.S. Chamber of Commerce argues that before the decision is finalized, EPA should be required to defend its scientific conclusions in front of an administrative law judge. Chamber officials and other critics claim that the Obama administration is suppressing internal agency studies that disagree with the proposed endangerment finding.

Should the climate change data be reviewed in a public administrative law hearing? Would a public hearing make any difference? Or is the hearing request just an excuse to delay the agency’s climate change decision?

Stealth ObamaCare Part I Hidden in “Stimulus” Bill

Amplifyd from www.newswithviews.com
ObamaCare as it’s being called - Part One was actually buried in the phony stimulus bill.
That massive rape was signed into law by the usurper president in February.
As Dr. Dave Janda writes, what is being debated now is Part Two.
What, you say? Yes, your member of Congress (and mine) pulled another fast one and deceived all of us. Again.
The creation of more worthless federal boards and councils were in the stimulus bill and are now in place. According to Dr. Dave Janda:
“The first part of The Obama Health Care Plan was buried in The Stimulus Bill which was signed into law by the President in February.
It is the second part of The Health Care Plan which is now being debated in Congress.”
Here is the link to the draconian ‘American Investment and Recovery Act of 2009; the same failure as all the wasteful government programs implemented by FDR that prolonged the “Great Depression.”
In my last column, I explained why Marxist Hillary Clinton’s attempt to take over of another sector of private Read more at www.newswithviews.com

merriemarie says:

industry (health care) failed. It wasn’t just a massive back lash from we the people, but because she was advised it would not pass a constitutional challenge.

Now that the American people are beaten down with massive government regulations that ruined the finest health care system in this world and a population that is sick and dying, the shadow government is making another attempt to take over another private sector, even though the U.S. Constitution forbids such legislation.

“The underlying method of cutting costs throughout the plan is based on rationing and denying care, not preventing health care need. The plan’s method is the most inhumane and unethical approach in cutting costs. The rationing of care is implemented through a Council, equivalent to the National Health Care Board in the British Health Care System. The name given to this panel is The Federal Coordinating Council For Comparative Effectiveness Research (“Federal Council”). (Section 9201 H.R. 1 Version of the Stimulus Bill.)

“President Obama has already appointed the fifteen member Federal Council. According to the Stimulus Bill, p.152, all members of the Council must be “senior federal officers or employees.” Thus, medical treatment will be dispensed by a group of bureaucrats from their ivory towers, not by the hands-on practitioners in the presence of the patients. The council was funded with $1.1 BILLION from The Stimulus Bill.”

You can go to those pages in the bill linked above and verify that Dr. Janda is accurate in his assessment. One of the members of this worthless and totally unnecessary “Federal Council” is Ezekiel J. Emanuel, MD, PhD, brother of America hater, Rahm Emanuel, Comrade Obama/Soetoro’s Chief of Staff.

If you read the sections above, all of them are clearly unconstitutional because the courts have ruled that Congress has no authority to legislate medical practice or direct medical practice within the states of the Union:

In Linder v. United States, 268 U.S. 5, 18, 45 S. Ct. 446 (1925), The court ruled: “Obviously, direct control of medical practice in the of states is beyond the power the federal government.”

In U.S. v. Anthony, 15 Supp. 553, 555, (S.D. Ca., 1936) and U.S. v. Evers, 453 F. Supp. 1141, 1150 (M.D. Ala., 1978), the court ruled: “…The direct control of medical practice has been left to the states.”

And, in Railroad Retirement Board v. Alton Railroad Co., above, the United States Supreme Court said, “These matters obviously lie outside the orbit of congressional power.”

There are hundreds of provisions of ObamaCare Two that are simply and without question unconstitutional. That means your member of Congress (house or senate) has no legal authority to vote for any such legislation. We must continue pounding on these craven scoundrels in Congress (both parties) to defeat Part Two.

Let your congress critter and senator know that we the people now know about Part One being deceptively shoved down our throats. We now know the urgency to get Part Two passed: This vile “Federal Council” is now set up and just needs the rest of the treachery to get underway. I say fire them by defeating Part Two. Get rid of these useless paychecks feeding off the fruits of our labor.

Let your U.S. Senator know that any enforcement attempts will be met with lawsuits from individuals, businesses and organizations who are directly impacted by these unconstitutional laws.

Hopefully, more states of the Union will pass emergency legislation to opt out of any legislation signed into law so their citizens don’t have to file the lawsuits. They won’t do it unless you contract your state rep and senator and tell them this is urgent - even if they are out of session; call their offices. Let’s stop future grief before it becomes a nightmare.
